Advocating Blended Learning for University Undergraduate Level Mathematical Instruction Beyond Covid-19

Institutional mathematicsMathematics education has long been traditional in its ways of being teacher-centric, a tradition which perhaps dates back to the Ancient Greece. Much like society those days, where there was wary public feeling about rigidness mathematical instruction Pythagoras’ school, mathematics educators find themselves similar position common era 2020. Unlike Greece however, battle is for sustained delivery comprehensive midst Covid-19 pandemic. It would be fair say that departments across all levels sector have affected drastically; more so on instructors who favour “chalk and talk” method instruction. In this article, we share several lessons learned at undergraduate university level during pandemic, drawing our experience Universiti Brunei Darussalam. These include specific methods implementing online learning effectively, pros cons such methods, how can use computer based tools make conducive. We highly think these implementations are beneficial adapted by anywhere as means adapting new realities post Covid-19.
